Swedish Kubbstol or Stockstol
exquisite robust Swedish 'Kubbstol' or 'Stockstol' ,
in a marvelous original rusty-red/brown patina & beautifully carved,
age 18th century but paintings dated 1903 by 'Carl Oscar Colliander' from Röttvik,
the chair is primitive furniture made by hand from one large solid log of wood,
the Pine log has been hollowed and shaped into the current shape,
chairs like this have very old ancestry dating all the way back around 1600,
large broad sized one,
extraordinary piece,
